The organisers of Copenhagen Games have announced the first batch of teams invited to compete in its Counter-Strike tournament.
From March 23-26, the Øksnehallen exhibition centre, located at the heart of Copenhagen, will stage the 2016 edition of Copenhagen Games, one of the oldest and most prestigious gaming events in the Nordic region.
Sixteen teams, eight invited plus eight coming from the on-site qualifier, will battle it out for their share of a €30,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home €17,000.
ENCE to attend CPH Games
After previously unveiling Dignitas as one of the invited sides, CPH Games has now announced that invitations have also been issued to ENCE, SK and E-frag.net.
Due to the fact that only three days separate Copenhagen Games from MLG Columbus, it is unlikely to see teams attending the $1 million Valve-sponsored tournament choose to compete at the Danish event.
The last four invites will be revealed by Copenhagen Games' organisers shortly. The list of participants for the event currently looks as follows:
